Expression Of Age

Black sea of darkness
Dusky sky of night
Silent hour of witching
Where the moon shines bright.
Twinkling ball of fire
Blinking star of night
Cosmic wonders of space
Winking down at me.
Uninterrupted beams of light
Refracted glass of window
Filtered night of starry sky
And my eyes will not shut.
Shining crescent of moon
Amongst black of night
One star of twilight
Guiding me to sleep.
